Our range of Clear shatter resistant safety films create an invisible barrier which holds glass in place, delaying break-ins and minimising damage. Shield’s Safety Films are also available in a “solar control” version. This type of window film not only gives the safety performance required but also will dramatically reduce energy usage, solar heat gain and glare.
It is a legal requirement that glass in certain areas of public buildings meet a minimum safety standard. If your glazing does not meet the legal requirements applying shatter resistant safety film will bring your existing glazing up to standard.
Shield’s shatter resistant safety film is more cost effective and much less disruptive than taking out the glass and replacing it with safety glass If you are unsure if your glazing complies with Glazing Regulations please contact us for further information, free health check or to book a Glazing Audit.
